These are the steps on how to enter Form 1098E.
A. How to add the 1098E form
1. Under the
Tax Returns tab, locate the "+" icon at the upper left portion.
2. Then, search for the 1040 Wkt 2 form in the search bar then click it.
B. How to fill up the form
- Enter the amount paid as seen in Form 1098E. Fill in into 'taxpayer' column if it is for the taxpayer and fill in the 'spouse' column if it's for the spouse.
C. For Teacher Expenses
- Up to $300 credit for each grade school teacher. Not applicable to college teachers.
